Purpose of the position :
The Accounting Head will be responsible for the preparation of the Financial Statements of the Branch. It will include : valuation and classification according to Accounting rules, controlling accounting, tax settlement, regulatory reporting and vendor s payment.
She / he will also define and coordinate the preparation of the Business Plan and the Budget of the Branch.
Key responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- Prepare and present Financial Statements to the BCRA and other regulatory bodies.
- Be responsible for complying regulatory requirements (BCRA, CNV, AFIP, among others).
- Presentation of Informative Regimens defined by the regulator.
- Keep local accounting records updated based on IFRS. (Valuation and classification, following regulatory rules).
- Responsible for tax payments and compliance.
- Development and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Participate in the definition of the business plan of the Branch.
- Responsible for defining and implementing the accounting policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for coordinating audits carried out by Regulators, Internal and External Auditors.
- Be the main contact with regulators related to financial topics.
- Supervise all the activities inherent to the general treasury of the Branch, referring to the administration of income and expenses, transfers and custody of funds and securities.
- Responsible for payments to suppliers.
