Job Summary:
Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for Senior Tagging and Analytics Implementation Engineer with 10+ years of experience.
Location: Dallas, Texas/Remote, USA

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000.00 – 150,000.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Job Description:
Senior Tagging and Analytics Implementation Specialist
The Senior Tagging and Analytics Implementation Engineer defines and implements analytics technology solutions in support of the data enablement needs of client initiatives. This person will architect, document, and implement a wide range of analytics solutions including platform configuration, tag management, data extraction, and script development to facilitate automation goals. This role is a strategic and technical role requiring analytics and development knowledge and skills. Expertise with tag management systems along with data layers is critical to this role.
Strong expertise in JavaScript is mandatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform discovery of client marketing and analytics data ecosystems
- Author and maintain clear documentation for client initiatives, producing flow diagrams and technical specifications, thereby providing comprehensive requirements and documentation for developers and stakeholders.
- Execute tag management implementation using Ensighten and provide comprehensive validation of all tracking points to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Develop JavaScript code to support the interrogation of data, application of business/data logic, and automation of reporting outputs.
- Query data to support the verification of integration and pipeline accuracy, while ensuring data quality through audits and automated QA processes
- Administer applied data platforms in a centralized manner to maintain consistency across local offices and widespread adherence to security and consumer privacy best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5-7 years of analytics and technology experience
- Experience with JavaScript, Angular and React JS frameworks leveraging Git for source control.
- Experience utilizing tag management systems, including Ensighten and Google Tag Manager for deployment of analytics tracking tags on pageview-based websites, single-page applications, and mobile apps.
- Experience with digital analytics and digital media platforms such as Adobe Analytics /Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Ads, Facebook/Media Pixels and Content Square/Decibel Medallia Digital Experience Analytics
- Knowledge on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
- Adobe Analytics Implementation experience is a plus.
- An understanding of core marketing analytics concepts including impressions, clicks, pageviews, events, sessions, users, conversions, and attribution models.
- Problem-Solving & Commitment: Ability to solve measurement and business challenges through technical creativity, while maintaining a continuing education commitment to remain current on analytics technology.
- Personal Traits: Passionate about problem solving in the areas of marketing, data, analytics, and technology; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
· BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
· Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment.
