A Field Service Engineer will play a vital field-based role, travelling to customer sites, both onshore and offshore, across APAC region. You will provide specialist installation and maintenance support. You will perform hands-on work individually and as part of a Field Service team.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Assisting start-up Engineer during the commissioning phase ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine
Writing accurate professional reports and acting as single point of contact between Customers and Headquarters concerning technical issues
Using Company e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings
Ensuring all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and procedures
Unloading and Inspection of the Gas Turbine major auxiliaries at the installation site and their placement on the foundation
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 5 to 7 years' of related working experience in Oil & Gas industry within maintenance or installation field activities
Be proficient to carryout L1-L3 Service events including Engine Exchange and Hot Section Repairs.
Have knowledge of all different Gas Generators, such as LM2500 SAC, DLE, G4+, LM6000, HSPT and 6 Pack Variants.
Have the availability to travel internationally, particularly within the Asia Pacific region
