Mission and objectives

Notre travail se concentre sur trois domaines d'intervention : le développement durable, la gouvernance démocratique et la consolidation de la paix, ainsi que la résilience au climat et aux catastrophes.
Context
As part of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) to be held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from 13 January to 11 February 2024, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Côte d'Ivoire is offering to mobilise online volunteers to support communication about the event.
Task description
We are seeking the support of 100 online volunteers to help us raise awareness of the values of peace and tolerance and to increase the visibility of the CAN 2023 African Cup of Nations among young people in Africa and around the world. To this end, the selected online volunteers, under the supervision and guidance of the UNDP Communication Specialist and/or the Communication Specialist of the Ministry in charge of Youth, will support:• Promote the measures taken during the Can to combat plastic pollution• Promote messages to combat deforestation• Promote messages to combat GBV• Promote messages of peace and social cohesion• Share communication tools and links via social networks (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp);• Record the number of views, likes and shares of publications over the duration of the mission.The online volunteers selected will receive relevant and necessary information to carry out their task.Female candidates are strongly encouraged.
