Role Overview Summary
The role holder will work with VSO partner organizations to integrate ecological principles into agricultural systems, focusing on sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and resource efficiency. Conduct research, develop, and implement practices that promote resilient and regenerative farming methods, aiming to enhance both environmental health and agricultural productivity. To foster a harmonious relationship between agriculture and the environment, ensuring long-term food security and ecological balance in the Bangsamoro Communities.
Ideal Applicant Summary
We are looking for an individual with experience in natural resource management and with proven track-record of relevant experience in propagating agroecology in developing economies. The ideal candidate should have experience in in helping set up agroecology programs, degree in Agriculture, Ecology or any other related discipline. In addition, you should have good knowledge of English and local language, including the ability to maintain good working relationships with all project stakeholders.
