Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstAssociate Vice President, Clinical Drug StrategiesHumana is seeking a proven healthcare executive focused on leadership, culture and strategic business development with extensive clinical strategy, operations and policy experience.

Demonstrated ability to define vision and strategy, drive transformation, achieve objectives, attract, develop and retain top talent.

This leader will work and collaborate with leaders across the Humana enterprise, Humana Pharmacy Solutions executive leaders as well as have extensive engagement representing Humana with external entities and providers.

This role will provide clinical thought leadership and will be responsible for the following : promoting evidence based medicine, Humana's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and processes, the pharmacy research strategy, formulary strategy and operations, drug policy creation and management, utilization management strategy, clinical trend initiatives, Humana's managed care residency program.

This individual will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, providing a voice to the role of formulary in supporting health outcomes, advocacy needs in the changing Part D Space, a champion for interoperability and transparency for both members and providers all while advancing and designing formulary strategy of the future.

The organization aligned to this leader is made up of about 80 associates and will report to the VP of Pharmacy Clinical Strategies.

ResponsibilitiesPartners closely with Retail and Centerwell partners to drive enterprise value and health outcomes.Invests in the growth and development of associates.

Integrates across the broader pharmacy organization to amplify the enterprise value of pharmacy.Work closely with plan partners in the design of our formulary strategy to support formulary's role as a health outcomes tool and a selling tool.

Advance Humana's commitment to Health First and an integrated healthcare experience by continuously thinking across end users of the formulary / policies (plan, providers, members) to streamline the experience and increase transparency.

Drive innovative thinking across formulary design, implementation, and maintenance.Partner closely with our Government Affairs partners on advocacy needsCollaborates with key business partners, Clinical Program Strategies within pharmacy and within the health plan to maximize formulary value and member / provider experience.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$219,400 - $301,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
