AWS Cloud Infra Architect: (Cloud Governance)

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA

 

We are looking for AWS Cloud Infra Architect for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

·       Experience & Ability to build, mature and optimize Cloud Environments operations from On Premise to AWS Cloud.

·       Understand existing operation model, identify gaps and define Target Cloud Operating Model.

·       Define & Implement Roadmap for Cloud Operations by working closely with Cloud COE/Platform Engineering teams.

·       Define Capacity Management, Enabling/Provisioning of AWS Services.

·       Work closely with Enterprise Architects & ensure applications onboarded meet Resiliency, Observability & Security Operations standards.

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders in defining Key Performance Indicators for workloads migrated to AWS Cloud.

·       Work closely with Migrations Architect for Application Migrations & ensure standards are met to onboard applications in AWS.

·       Define Runbooks/SOPs for the onboarded application including DR Test to meet RTO/RPO Standards.

·       Performed Well-Architect Reviews for applications to be onboarded.

·       Excellent in Infrastructure As A Code – Ability to write & review codes.

·       Excellent understanding of Operation management services AWS System Manager, AWS Backup & AWS Lifecycle Manager.

·       Excellent understanding of AWS Billing & Cost Management including Defining Cost Categories & Cost Allocation Tags. Account Consolidation & marketplace billing.

 

 

Qualification:

·       15 - 18 Years of Experience in IT with 8-10 Years of experience in AWS Cloud.

·       5 Years in Architect & Cloud Operations.

·       AWS Solution Architect – Professional.

·       Ability to perform configuration change by Infra As a Code.
