Job Title: AWS PySpark Developer (Onsite)

Job Location: Richmond, VA

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing developing and maintaining software applications using Python, PySpark, SQL and AWS. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. 
• Daily monitoring Production jobs in AROW Scheduler.
• Writing PySpark code to pull data from source files/API/Views into Redshift/Snowflake.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS and domain expertise in Cards & Payments. 
• Ability to work on AWS service like EMR, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB; and should understand concept related to Security Groups IAM role, VPC Strong, AWS, PySpark, Python, SQL skills.

Salary and Other Compensation: 

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
