Azure Solution Architect and Data Engineer

Position Sumamary:

 

We are seeking a proficient Solution Architect and Data Engineer with 14+ years of experience to play a pivotal role in a major data migration project to the Azure cloud. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Data Engineering, change management, and Solution Architecture. This role is integral to ensuring the success of the migration project and maintaining a seamless experience for stakeholders. The candidate will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's processes.

 

Mandatory Skills:

·       Proficient in Azure and AWS for optimizing cloud-based solutions.

·       Skilled in Azure DevOps and Gitlabs for CI/CD pipeline architecture.

·       Experience in designing applications for change consolidation.

·       Skilled in SonarQube for continuous code inspection.

·       Proficient in Python scripting for Azure Databricks data transformation.

·       Experienced in designing efficient ingestion pipelines with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

·       Skilled in Erwin Modelling and DI Suite for accurate data mapping and modeling.

·       Proficient in Oracle DB for data migration database handling.

·       Experienced in maintaining data integrity and optimizing performance.

·       Expertise in robust change, release management, and financial operations during migration.

·       Skilled in API Management for effective communication.

·       Experienced in CI/CD Build and Release Automation for workflow efficiency.

·       Skilled in Kong API Gateway for secure API management.

·       Proficient in Sumologic for centralized monitoring.

·       Experienced in executing Change and Release Management.

·       Skilled in leveraging Microsoft Graph APIs for enhanced integration.

·       Experienced in Scaled Agile Methodology alignment.

·       Skilled in Infrastructure as Code implementation for deployment efficiency.

·       Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation.

·       Proficient in WIZ and Splunk for monitoring and logging.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

·       Design Azure solutions prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.

·       Write Python scripts for Azure Databricks data transformation.

·       Design ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

·       Architect CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Azure DevOps.

·       Design .NET applications for change consolidation.

·       Establish robust DataOps processes for effective change and release management.

·       Manage cloud costs through FinOps practices, optimizing resource usage.

·       Conduct Data Engineering tasks for donor data acquisition and migration.

·       Utilize Erwin for accurate data mapping and modeling.

·       Implement automation for build and release processes.

·       Engage in SQL development for data migration and performance optimization.

·       Write PowerShell scripts for Azure deployment and automation.

·       Set up SonarQube for static code analysis.

·       Ingest Azure AD data using Graph APIs.

·       Involve and support penetration testing for cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities.

·       Participate in PI planning using the Scaled Agile Methodology.

·       Utilize and set up Wiz alerts for cloud monitoring.

·       Set up auto-scaling and auto-shutdown for cloud cost optimization.

·       Collaborate for supporting infrastructure readiness.

·       Manage weekly releases and organize production support.

·       Utilize REST APIs for data ingestion.

Salary Range:>$100,000
