Industry solutions groups - BFS (ISG BFS) is industry centric domain aligned Service Line driving solutions and offerings for financial services firms, enabling them to accelerate their modernization journey, enhancing their customers / user engagement, leveraging emerging technologies, and helping them differentiate in their respective markets.

 

BFS ISG partners and works closely with leading software vendors in respective domain areas, building joint value propositions and go to market approaches, driving complex business transformation, migrating to vendor platforms, upgrades for leading financial services firms.

 

Overview of “ISG_BFS_FOCUS_AREAS”

 

·     Core banking - modernizations across retail banks, wholesale, private banking, and wealth management. Our primary software partner in this domain includes Temenos product suite, FIS, Fiserv, Finastra – LoanIQ, FTI, FCC, and emerging relationships with Thought Machine, Backbase, etc.

 

·     Payments - Hub, Switch & Card Management Systems modernization with implementation of emerging payment methods across all payment rails like cards, A2A domestic (RTGS, Batch & Real-time) and A2A cross-border etc., working with leading software vendors like ACI, Fiserv, FIS, Finastra GPP, and network of. Fintech partners

 

·     Risk & Compliance - Financial Crime Mitigation and compliance across customer life cycle (CLM), KYC, AML, fraud detection and prevention, transaction monitoring etc. working closely with leading software vendors in this space like FICO, Fincom, Fenergo, Nice Actimize, etc.

 

·     Capital Markets - Supporting and transforming Investment management, investment operations, performance and attribution, investor reporting, custody and asset servicing and sales & trading mid- back-office operations, etc. working with key partners like Eagle (BNYM) suite of offering, Adenza, Murex, Vermeg, Torstone, NeoXam, etc.

 

·     Controls & Reconciliations - Implementing controls, reconciliations and data quality assurance across Banking and investment operations working with key partners like Gresham CTC, Smarstream, Intellimatch, etc.

 

 

The Role

This job opportunity will fulfil the role of SBU head for Banking and Capital markets domains with ISG_BFS_FOCUS_AREASaligned with ISG BFS offerings and software vendor partnerships.

 

Primary focus is essentially to own portfolio of delivery engagements, build competencies and specialization at the intersection of business domains and software partners, manage and build deep relationship with software partners, supporting sales / service line specialist through domain and product competencies.    

 

 

Key Responsibilities

·     Primary responsibility area is to own delivery portfolio and continuous competency development across domains and packaged software partners for ISG BFS.

·     Manage $40m+ engagements portfolio across Banking and Capital Markets

·     Drive innovation in delivery management optimizing teams, improving automation, opportunities for cross-domain leverage and fungibility, deploying repeatable solutions to continuously improve delivery quality.

·     Ideating, qualifying, and elaborating BFS industry aligned repeatable solutions ideas, value proposition, and frameworks / reference models that improves collaboration and value proposition with qualified partners.

·     Build a reputation as a trusted partner who understands the business domain and collaborates to deliver on commitments and help drive business result, supporting customers in their technology roadmap, Digital Journey and share industry point of views.

·     Engagement in key client / prospect conversions bringing Cognizant point of view, understanding, and translating client business and technology context to solution ideas and value propositions with ecosystem of packaged software partners.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

·     20+ years of experience in banking financial services change the bank initiative

·     At least 15+ in delivering implementation and systems integration, large / complex transformation programs, working with packaged software vendor solutions in BFS domain

·     Delivery of deep domain aligned solutions across wholesale and commercial banking, wealth management and Capital Markets

·     Ability to manage partners across the life cycle from qualification to nascent / developed partners.

·     Developing joint value propositions, solutions with partner ecosystem

·     Excellent communications at all levels of organization– senior internal / external stakeholders and solution teams.

·     Relationship management – fostering long term relationships with partners, client.

·     Managing diversified portfolio of projects with domain and technology partner ecosystem
