Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leveraging data-driven insights to support business decision-making and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities :
Data Analysis and Interpretation : Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
Develop a deep understanding of business processes and goals to align data analysis with organizational objectives.
Power BI Development : Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate meaningful insights.
Create visually compelling and interactive data visualizations to facilitate better decision-making.
Documentation : Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions, including business requirements analysis, technical specifications, and user guides.
Ensure that documentation is comprehensive, clear, and accessible to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
Quality Assurance : Implement quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and reliability of Power BI reports and data models.
Conduct thorough testing to identify and rectify any issues in data retrieval, transformation, or visualization.
Prioritization and Follow-Through : Demonstrate strong prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Follow through on commitments and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality BI solutions.
Business User Support : Provide ongoing support to business users for Power BI-related inquiries and issues. Conduct training sessions to empower users in leveraging Power BI for self-service analytics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Computer Science etc).
- Proven experience (2 years+) as a Business Intelligence Analyst with a focus on Power BI.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and data visualization best practices.
- Experience in business requirements analysis, technical specifications writing, and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of SQL for adhoc data queries, data manipulation and extraction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent oral and written communication in English.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with remote teams.
- Demonstrated prioritization skills and the ability to follow through on tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Microsoft Power BI certification.
- Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView, Looker, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google, Azure, AWS), database and data warehouse concepts for data storage and processing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Business Intelligence and analytics.
