Call for National Consultancy Services (C-24-04)
POSTING TITLE: Consultancy in Communications to document the piloting of the VBS in Quezon City DEPARTMENT: CIP – Philippines
WORK LOCATION: Quezon, Philippines
CLOSING DATE: February 29, 2024
The consultant selected will be responsible for the documentation of the piloting of the VBS in Quezon City, and to provide support to the focal person in coordination with partners for smooth implementation of the VBS. Objectives:
1. Documentation of the VBS (including taking of photo, video, notes during the sessions).
2. Compilation of documents per VBS group (i.e.: attendance, etc. including uploading in initiative’s google drive).
3. Prepare communications materials such press release, photos and articles for posting in social media and submission to Initiative’s Comms specialist, VBS video for the graduation).
4. Layout VBS materials (poster, briefs, reports, etc.).
5. Assist in organizing meetings and events, as needed.
6. Assist in follow-ups with partners on VBS implementation, as needed.
7. Assist in preparation of reports and presentation (materials for reporting, review presentations, etc.) 8. Participate in monitoring the VBS during the weekly sessions and selected coaching sessions. Expected duration and conditions:
• This consultancy contract is for 7 months from March to September 2024.
• The payment is a fixed and consolidated fee.
• The venue for Interview will be informed only to the shortlisted candidates.
Qualifications/special skills
• BS in Development Communication (master’s degree is preferred).
• More than 10 years of professional experience in: monitoring and documentation of activities, writing and lay outing of various knowledge products including reports and publications, assisting in project coordination.
• Extensive experience in the development of promotional materials and knowledge products. • Practical experience in the documentation of participatory community projects and approaches. Application Process:
