We arelooking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with expertisein AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring thatour cloud computing environment is secure, resilient, andcompliant.
Youwill be a key player in the design, implementation, and managementof our AWS-based solutions, ensuring the confidentiality,integrity, and availability of our data andapplications
WHATYOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Provide specialized security advice and support to various teamsthroughout the company
Design, build, and implement enterprise-class security systems fora production AWS
environment
Design and deploy tools, dashboards, scripts, and automation topromote the adoption ofsecure
configurations by product, application, and developmentteams
Alignsecurity standards, frameworks, and practices with the overallbusiness and technology
strategy
Regularly carry out a variety of security assessments, includingpenetration testing,evaluating
threatsand risks, and conducting codereviews
Identify and communicate current and emerging securitythreats
Design security architectures tailored for the AWSenvironment
Perform security reviews and audits of AWS services andinfrastructure
Attend to any security incidents including creatingplaybooks
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure solutions are effectivelyengineered, tested, andintegrated
Develop and configure technical solutions, patterns, and newsecurity tools to helpmitigate
security vulnerabilities and automate repeatabletasks
Usemetrics and security maturity models to improve our securityposture
Stayinformed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and bestpractices
Trainteam members in best practices and provide securityguidance
WHATSHOULD BE IN YOUR BACKPACK
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field, orequivalent
experience
Strong foundational knowledge in the following security domains : Secure networkarchitectures,
Secureapplication development, Identity and Access Management, Threatdetection and
response, etc.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).Certifications in AWS, such as AWS Certified Security Specialty,are a plus
Familiarity with web-related technologies including Webapplications, Web Services, and Service Oriented Architectures, aswell as with network / web relatedprotocols.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Security solutions such as SecurityHub, Guard Duty, WAF, IAM, KMS, VPCs, and SecurityGroups
Comprehensive understanding of network-based, system-level, andapplication layer attacks, along with their mitigationmethods
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash,etc.
Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS / IPS, and bothstatic and dynamic code analysis, in addition to penetrationtesting tools
Proficiency in Cloud Governance, Risk Management, andCompliance
Experience with conducting vulnerability and risk managementactivities
Experience in threat modeling and security architecturereviews
