The position that we are looking is MEDIA + CMI MANAGER for Central America and Caribe, a person who help us to bring life our vision : From Media : Driving digital acceleration engines that drive our brands to Be Unmissable through the creation and execution of world class Digital Marketing, Media & Commerce.

And from CMI leading on the frontline to understand & serve Central America and Caribe’s mainstream consumers, shoppers, & customers Culture.

The Key objectives of this role are :

to represent the consumer, solve business issues, and help find opportunities for growth. to be an integral part of the team who deeply understands the consumer and can bring that empathy to Engagement insights that build brand equity and strengthen the brand’s purpose.

Advise on all thing’s CMI and MEDIA to internal stakeholders through depth of media and CMI knowledge, providing expertise on specific channels, including ecommerce, and by explaining complex information in an easily digestible way.

Collaboration with agencies and internal / external stakeholders is critical to managing the Media and CMI value chain and landing communication plans.

Drive innovation, mainly digital one to be more agile, accurate and efficient in terms of our investment, our tools and our deployments.

Responsibilities :

  • You will lead CARICAM CMI and Media planning, buying and execution, across all touchpoints from traditional to digital, including retailer and performance media working in close collaboration with agencies and brand teams to drive maximum ROMI and breakthrough innovation.
  • You will lead and develop Media and CMI Strategy driving Digitality and Innovation across the ecosystem.
  • You will lead mix development research - including consumer pain points, full mix testing, customer growth stories & PLEs
  • You will lead communication testing across touchpoints, including applying Digital Mandatories, DBAs, & purpose & partnering the Digital Hub and agencies.
  • You will partner with the Marketing, Digital teams, for both precision and performance marketing creating consumer & culturally relevant creatives.
  • You will be the consumer voice to share to the company the media behavior, consumer needs / motivations to guarantee the right content in the right channel at the right time.
  • Lead the digital marketing transformation.
  • Support and drive best practice into the Local Digital hubs.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with key partners, including relationships throughout the industry mainly in traditional and Digital partners.
  • Deploying world class media plans that deliver against brand objective and goals through collaboration with agencies.
  • Manage day-to-day and operational issues with channel agency partners, ensuring staff are up to date on developments and have the information they need.

Challenges that wait for you :

Be the custodian of the CMI and Media (Digital and Traditional Agenda). Be pioneer of Digital. Be someone who make things happens, working closely with Marketing Teams, Agencies, Media partners and CARICAM Board.

Initiate of Commerce agenda, drive transformation and maintain senior sponsorship.

What we need from you?

Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree in Communication or Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, or Business welcomed.

Demonstrated high performance, 7+ years of relevant experience (such as client service, consulting, market research) required.

Experience working with and analyzing data from Nielsen, IRI, and Numerator (both scanning and panel) Familiarity with mix development research methodologies, BASES testing, ad pre-testing, custom research, qual and quant studies.

Experience managing stakeholders and business partners across functions. Good Project Management skills in prioritizing multiple tasks.

Demonstrate ability to think through problems and provide clear logic. Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary digital teams, and experience in handling complex stakeholders in a matrixed organization, with multi-country set-up.

Extensive experience in Digital Commerce, including search and content expertise (internal and external). Provide clear presentation of information (reports, tools, and summaries) Skilled and experienced research lead who knows how to devise and prioritize a consumer learning plan.

Represents and elevates the CMI function in the org. Holistic brand communication management experience at a large brand.

Or, cross-brand leadership experience at an agency Digital tools : An experience with digital analytical tools ( Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, FB Audience Insights, Google Trends, Search) Language Requirements : English fluency as minimum

SKILLS

  • Hands on media and CMI planning, deployment, and evaluation experience mandatory
  • Have Consumer Marketing insight and media agency side experience. Having both will be an added advantage.
  • Having both Traditional Media Management (TV and Digital media experience.
  • Digital deployment knowledge on key platforms like Facebook, Google and OTT is an added advantage as the candidate will work on integrated media strategy.
