Consultant Credit Risk
Advise banks and other financial institutions on Credit Risk management including measuring, monitoring and reporting of risk metrics, and on best practices in mortgages and lending including designing and implementing solutions for the entire credit lifecyle.
Responsibilities:
- You refine the backlog to support the Product Owner of the squad.
- You play an active role in the refinement of user stories to ensure user story feasibility.
- You translate business requirements into functional designs, ensuring compliance by design.
- You align with the architects to make sure the designed solution is in line with the architectural roadmap.
- You work closely together with various departments in a financial institution to refine the user stories and finalize the functional design.
- You help your client in addressing requests from various stakeholders – e.g. regulators, auditors etc
- You play a key role in the quality assurance of the delivered solution; supporting the team in user acceptance testing and aligning with the stakeholders is one of the important responsibilities.
- You are able to independently perform the data extraction, handling and analysis required for the functional analysis/business analysis; you are well aware of the logical data modelling
- You build the bridge between business and IT.
Our ideal candidate:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Work experience in European banking industry required.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Credit Risk calculation and reporting (including regulatory reporting, COREP, Basel III, Basel IV) in banks and financial institutions.
- Experience in Credit Risk / counterparty Credit Risk calculation measures (SA-CCR, PFE, EPE, EEPE, PD, LGD, IFRS9)
- Understanding of credits / lending product and process lifecycle
- Significant experience in Retail and Corporate Banking involving mortgages and other credit products, loan origination and monitoring, credit scoring, credit collection, KYC/CDD, customer journey
- Experience with ESG reporting, SFDR implementation, Taxonomy development.
- Ability of requirement elicitation, analyzing the business requirements into solution design and implement the solution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Dutch and/or French professional fluency is mandatory.
- Intermediate level of SQL knowledge is mandatory.
- Experience in Agile working environment.
