About the Role:

The Team: 

The Global PRG Coordinator will be a member of the S&P Global’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team, reporting into the Global PRG Lead.

Our enterprise-level PRG team provides guidance and structure to our nine PRGs, enabling our global and local PRG leaders to develop strategic plans, foster inclusion, and drive social impact through programming and partnerships.

Worldwide, more than 800 colleagues serve as global and regional board leaders across 80+ chapters in 38 locations, As a Global PRG Coordinator at S&P Global, you will support the Global PRG Lead manage, govern and inspire the Global PRG Network. You will also have oversight over the 20+ communities that are a thriving part of our inclusion ecosystem.

Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as the PRG liaison for the Global DEI team to ensure alignment and integration of PRG planning and implementation with DEI strategies. 

  • Meet regularly with PRG leaders and PRG members to coordinate administrative tasks, provide input on programming events and initiatives, communicate key priorities, align on progress, and build relationships. 

  • Support oversight of the yearly PRG budget and spending by tracking expenses against budget, reconciling variances as required, coordinating quarterly budget reviews, and summarizing year-end spending. 

  • Onboard new PRGs, PRG leaders, and support Executive Sponsors where needed. 

  • Develop cross-functional processes/trackers/tools for events, communications, and key moments, and communicating regularly with partner teams. 

  • Manage and enhance the PRG membership database to provide relevant data, analysis, and recommendations for ongoing PRG enhancements. 

  • Work collaboratively across the DEI team to bring fresh insights and innovative ideas to S&P Global’s global PRG initiatives. 

  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute events with multiple stakeholders and audience members (internally and externally). 

  • Create and contribute to various pieces of collateral such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word documents. 

  • Lead, participate, and support additional duties and projects, as requested. 

  • Partner with the PRG Leaders, DEI team, key stakeholders, and working group members to action PRG initiatives from start to finish (short/long term)  

  • Help implement key PRG programs, particularly focused on organizing and driving execution across the strategic DEI pillars. 

  • Monitor PRG projects and track and report on workstreams to ensure goals are met.   

  • Communicate to stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.   

  • Assist in evaluating, assessing, and reporting on programs' strengths and weaknesses.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 3+ years of working experience). 

  • Experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion and/or other related HR/DEI/PRG work. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues, people leaders, executive leadership, teams, partners, and diverse stakeholder groups.  

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • A strategic thinker who can plan, prioritize, and organize individual and group activities and processes. 

  • Able to work independently and take initiative; results oriented. 

  • An adaptable, flexible problem-solver.
