Bachelor - in science, engineering or equivalent

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000– 140,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Must have: Data Build Tool, Dbt core or dbt cloud experience

 Data vault 2.0 implementation experience with Automate_dv package.

Nice to have skills: Snowflake, Azure, Python, Healthcare experience.

Job summary

Desired skill - Data vault   Seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10-14 years of experience in Data Build Tool Snowflake Azure  and Python. Must have expertise in the Payer and Provider domains.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Technical Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of developers designing and implementing technical solutions and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams provide technical guidance and contribute to the overall technical strategy. Additionally you will mentor junior team members  conduct code reviews  and drive continuous improvement.

·       The candidate must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience working with DBT core or DBT cloud.

·       Must have relevant experience of a minimum of 5 years in Data Vault 2.0 implementation experience with the automate_dv package.

·       Must have Hands-on experience in DBT Core/DBT

·       Experience working in the Healthcare domain would be an advantage.

·       Responsible for the day-to-day development process and overseeing the technical design implementation, data profiling, and data analysis.

·       Deploy, Run, and Debug the ETL engine running the scripts built by the ETL Engineering team.

·       Exposure to Source to Target Mapping and Function Requirement Specifications Docs.

·       Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes to extract insights from existing data, leveraging rigorous project management discipline to ensure the highest possible quality of delivery while managing team capacity.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and mentor team members.

·       Conduct business due diligence activities to identify analytics opportunities for transformation.

·       I should be willing to work in the Pacific Timezone (PST)

·       Ability to manage high volume and high complexity data projects across multiple delivery location in virtual environment with excellent client communication skills.

·       Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
