Service Management is a cornerstone of our modernization and digitization efforts at Cognizant. ServiceNow is the strategic Platform Cognizant leverages to deliver Enterprise and IT Service Management, as a major contributor to modernizing the way we work.  Leveraging ServiceNow's capabilities will be key in transforming our enterprise IT operations.  To deliver these capabilities across Cognizant's enterprise we require a proven, experienced Program Director to drive the governance, planning, financial controls, cadence, and alignment of communications across the program.

Location – PAN India

Role –Dev Manager (Architect)

Level- Manager

Experience – 7 to 12 Years

Core Accountabilities

·       ServiceNow ITSM, ITAM & other products solution design and deployments

·       Integration of ServiceNow ITAM, GRC/ITOM, ITSM with 3rd party tools/applications/platforms

·       Responsible for creating design for data upload/ mail merge templates for automated data feeds.

·       Participate in workflow analysis and workflow redesign.

·       Produce a detailed technical design document and effort estimation for Proposal to match requirements/expectations.

Key Requirements

·       Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills.

·       Thorough understanding of ITAM processes.

·       Solid knowledge on CMDB & Service Mapping.

·       Implementation experience in ServiceNow Discovery &ITAM modules.

·       Vendor Risk Management (VRM)

·       Security Operations (SecOps)

·       ServiceNow Implementation experience in Incident, Change and Problem management.

·       Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions.

·       Hands-on experience in software license reconciling.

·       Experience in installing HAM / SAM Modules and SAM PRO

·       End to End Asset Management Life Cycle experience in Hardware assets.

·       Experience in all processes including but not limited to New Assets, IMACs, Retirements, Disposals.

·       Create/Update to asset records in the database accordingly throughout all stages of asset lifecycle.

·       Generate asset reports from ServiceNow tool like Procurement, Pending for disposal, Duplicate serial numbers regarding the services as well as ad-hoc reports and when required by the customer.

·       Interact directly with clients and other internal and external sources to obtain relevant data and documents in required forms and consistent with project objectives and deadlines.

·       Integration experience with other 3rd party Asset Management tools.

·       Hands-on experience in Glide and Jelly Scripting, Java Script, HTML, XML, & AJAX.

·       Experience with Integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc.)

·       Hands-on experience developing using JavaScript.

·       Hands-on experience working with relational databases.

·       Hands-on experience with web UI development technologies that include HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

·       Knowledge of one or more of the following: HTML/CSS, AJAX, Jelly, JSON, AngularJS.

·       Experience utilizing Agile/SCRUM Methodologies.

·       Understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

·       Strong understanding of troubleshooting principles and practices

·       Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem solving

·       Proficient critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills

·       Must be able to learn and support new and fast-changing technologies

Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related area of study

·       4+ years of experience in ServiceNow development

·       4+ years of experience with ServiceNow - Integrations hand-on knowledge of module features, functionalities, and workflows

·       Preferable work timing the associate is expected to operate at 12.00 PM to 9.00 PM

 

Desired Qualifications

·       ITIL V4 foundation certification

·       ServiceNow Certified Specialist - ITSM/ ITAM or Other Products
