Position : Executive Director
Blockchain Lawyers Forum (BLF) is actively seeking an Executive Director on a contract-to-hire basis to play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic planning, operations, and programs of our dynamic organization.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a vision and work plan for a primary fundraising campaign.
- Drive and manage sponsors and voluntary member relationships.
- Meet with potential sponsors and facilitate discussions.
2. Strategic Planning with the Board :
- Contribute to organizational strategic planning for 2024.
- Identify short-term and mid-term priorities in collaboration with the Board.
- Track and document progress toward strategic goals.
- Communicate with BLF members and potential volunteers.
3. Budget & Operations Oversight :
- Track and manage BLF budgets.
- Lead day-to-day operations.
- Implement systems, workflows, and program evaluation.
- Collaborate with the Board in planning and decision-making.
4. Build Community :
- Establish and cultivate relationships with BLF’s hub leaders and members.
- Develop, maintain, and support a strong Advisory Board.
- Serve as BLF’s primary spokesperson to membership, social media, and the general public.
5. Other Duties :
- Attend organization Board and committee meetings
- Create and oversight BLF sponsored educational and regulatory initiatives, encouraging active participation from BLF members
Who We Are Looking For :
- A self-motivated and reliable individual with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Passionate about BLF and its mission to unite legal experts in the blockchain ecosystem.
- Thrives working on complex tasks without a clear solution.
Skills & Experience :
- Thorough understanding of the legal challenges within the blockchain space. While being a graduated lawyer or having passed the bar exam is not mandatory, it is valued.
- Experience with fundraising and knowledge of nonprofit sector donor relations.
- Experience managing budgets and applying for grants.
- Native or advanced proficiency in English, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred : History of volunteer and direct community engagement.
- Preferred : Past success working with an Advisory Board or Board of Directors.
- Receive compensation in USDC or other stablecoins.

Projected Time Commitment :
We are open to discussing either part-time (20-25 hours per week) or a full-time contract basis.
