Supporting Area Controller for all statutory compliance matters such as statutory accounting, local tax compliance, payroll, local audits, local billing files, importations documents, ensuring that invoices are sent to the RFC or scanned and preparing all foreign exchange applications for approval from the Central Bank
- SPOC for payroll matters for all in-country staff including co-ordinating work with the out-source vendor, if any.
- In support of the area controller, supervise outsourced suppliers, if any, for Indirect and direct taxes ( Income Tax) and stat. Accounts,
- Assist Fixed Asset teams in liasing with custodians on location information and asset tagging,
- Ensure that all invoices are diligently sent (faxed, scanned or DHL-ed) to Chennai / Warsaw RFC,
- Keep records of all documents / transactions required by local laws,
- Support GL team on coding for non-compliant invoices,
- Support the collection team to visit customers when asked by the RFC
- Escalate promptly to area controller or respective RFC operating personnel all enquiries from internal or external customers which the person is unable to handle or answer,
- Contribute to development of and enhancement to systems and processes to meet the evolving needs of the business,
- Work with other in-country functions to deliver Finance Operation’s key objectives,
- Assist area controller in the discharge of his duties.

- Language skills (speak, read and write) : The Local language and English .
- Accountant or equivalent; MNC experience highly desirable
- Detailed country knowledge and experience
- Results driven
- Mature professional with customer oriented focus
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage interpersonal relationships with internal / external customers
- Proficient with MSOffice Applications

- Understanding and ideally exposure / experience in network / telecommunication industries,
- Exposure / experience in working with Regional Finance Centres is desirable,
- Able to add value to the Finance Operations function.
