- Consolidate and prepare financial statements of Accenture plc (including Balance sheet, Income statement, Shareholders' Equity)
- Assist in the review and filing of financial statements for Irish Stand-alone Statutory filing (Balance sheet, Income statement, Shareholders' Equity)
- Identify and record monthly and quarterly global journal entries
- Prepare and lead monthly pre and post close review of financial statements with Accenture Leadership, including preparation of Financial Results Summary
- Prepare selected quarterly and annual sections of the SEC 10-Q/K Filings, including footnote disclosures & MD&A information
- Assist Regulatory reporting team with preparation and review of filings
- Compare Accenture plc bonus accruals to plan on a quarterly basis to ensure appropriate classification and accounting
- Prepare annual Goodwill Impairment Analysis for Accenture plc
- Provide assistance to external auditors during quarterly review and annual audit processes
- Prepare Earnings release financial statements and review of other earnings release materials (i.e. Press release and CEO/CFO scripts)
- Ensure internal controls compliance and documentation requirements are met
- As appropriate, identify and recommend improvements to Financial Reporting processes
- Ad hoc research projectsQualifications:Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of 3 years' experience
- CPAPreferred Skills
- Mixture of public accounting, industry experience that includes US GAAP and SEC reporting or technical accounting responsibilities (not necessarily in services industry), and/or Accenture experience
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of ASC 830, "Foreign Currency"
- Previous Financial Reporting experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of business, finance, and accounting fundamentals
- Sound understanding of U.S. GAAP
- SAP experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office Programs
