We bring small-batch, restaurant-quality meals to eaters nationwide, crafted by a diverse collective of all-star chefs. With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like NYC, LA, Austin, and more, our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.
By delivering over 1 million meals per month, we're also empowering working chefs, tripling their income, and supporting their growth. CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.

As the Director of Talent, you'll be at the helm of our Talent Team—a lean, resourceful, and remarkably collaborative group. We don't just value autonomy, growth, and excellence; we thrive on them. The role:

The Director of Talent is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a talented workforce. You will have a deep understanding Of Talent management best practices, effective leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior executives, managers, and HR professionals.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement global talent management strategies that support the company's business objectives and foster a culture of high performance and engagement.
Revamp our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top talent and elevate the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
Oversee Talent Acquisition, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and retention initiatives across the organization.
Collaborate closely with senior executives and HR partners to identify critical skills and competencies required for the organization's success and develop plans to address any gaps.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure alignment and engagement in talent management initiatives.
Drive a culture of continuous learning and development by identifying learning needs, designing and implementing training programs, and fostering a learning mindset across the organization.
Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of the talent management process and identify areas for improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Talent Management with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Demonstrated understanding Of Talent management best practices, including Talent Acquisition, employee development, succession planning, performance management, and retention strategies.
Proven experience in developing and implementing talent management programs and initiatives in a global organization.
Proven implementation of employer branding strategies to attract top talent
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills with all levels in an organization. Advanced proficiency in English is a must.

Preferred Requirements:

In-depth understanding of cultural differences and the ability to create inclusive programs to attract and retain diverse talent.
Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, coaching senior leadership.
Experience working with large tech workforces.
