Mission and objectives
MISSION:Empowering men, women, youths and the disadvantaged with the tools necessary to help them improve the quality of their lives. We want the oppressed, the poor and less privileged to live a life of meaning and worth. Key programs of Goodness and Mercy Missions since 2007 are: Women Economic empowerment initiatives, Child Sponsorship, hassle free education for underprivileged children, computer training and youth livelihood projects.
Context
Goodness and Mercy Missions is a registered non profit organization providing tools and means to the underprivileged for a sustainable livelihood. It has projects on women economic empowerment, Child Sponsorship, environmental, climate change and a host of others. Concepts notes will be important as the organization embarks on a program to support more children in school.. Detailed information will be furnished to the volunteers, about the GMM Child Sponsorship program. Volunteers can either communicate in French or English,.
Task description
Goodness and Mercy Missions carries out a variety of empowerment projects in rural communities in Cameroon since 2007. Some of these projects implemented are on women economic empowerment, Child Sponsorship, vocational training for young mothers, youth livelihood, environmental protection and projects on climate change mitigation. Goodness and Mercy Missions is looking for volunteers who will help Draft Concept Notes for its Child Sponsorship program. The notes will be based on proposals by GMM to secure funding to support the education of more underprivileged children in school. GMM will furnish volunteers with different ways it plans to raise funds to support more children in school. It is with this information that Concept Notes will be drafted so that the organization can use to submit to potential funding sources.
