This role oversees the development and implementation of Talent crowdsourcing strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent for our organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of specialists and coordinating efforts to leverage external networks, platforms, and communities to meet Welocalize's talent needs. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, establish partnerships, and drive initiatives to build a diverse and agile workforce through crowdsourcing and open innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive crowdsourcing strategies aligned with the organization's talent acquisition goals, business objectives, and industry trends. Identify opportunities to leverage crowdsourcing for talent acquisition, project staffing, and innovation initiatives.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talent specialists and coordinators. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance and capabilities.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with account managers, department heads, project leaders, and other key stakeholders to understand talent requirements, project scopes, and staffing priorities. Align crowdsourcing efforts with organizational needs and objectives.

Partnership Management: Establish and maintain partnerships with crowdsourcing platforms, talent marketplaces, industry associations, academic institutions, and other external partners. Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements to maximize value and access to talent pools.

Talent Engagement: Cultivate relationships with external talent communities, including freelancers, gig workers, subject matter experts, and specialized professionals. Engage with talent through networking events, online forums, social media channels, and targeted outreach initiatives.

Brand Ambassadorship: Promote Welocalize as a destination for top talent within external communities and networks.

Project Coordination: Coordinate the allocation of crowdsourced talent to projects, initiatives, and workstreams across the organization. Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and resource managers to match talent with project requirements and timelines.

Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of crowdsourced talent, including quality of work, adherence to deadlines, and client satisfaction. Collect feedback from stakeholders and implement improvements to enhance talent sourcing and engagement processes.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics, trends, and outcomes related to crowdsourcing initiatives. Use data insights to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent work experience.

- Proven leadership experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment, with a focus on crowdsourcing, gig economy, or freelance talent.

- Strong understanding of crowdsourcing platforms, talent marketplaces, and emerging trends in the future of work.

- Good leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative sourcing strategies and address complex talent challenges.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.

- Project management experience, including planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across multiple stakeholders and teams.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and metrics-driven decision-making.

- Creative thinking, adaptability, and a passion for exploring new sourcing channels and recruitment methodologies.

This position will be ideal for a Talent or Recruitment professional with experience in large-scale and mass hiring processes.
