Job Description

Provide Human Resource subject matter expertise, project leadership and service delivery support for execution of end-to-end life cycle for Accenture's mergers and Acquisitions transactions globally.

Partner with Global M&A Deal Execution and VATI team to conduct HR due diligence activities and tasks and to plan and drive assigned HR integration planning and execution.

A V&A HR Manager possesses the technical and professional skills to lead a small to medium complexity deal independently from Due Diligence through full Integration / Handover phases (end to end);

or a large country-specific portion of a global deal (e.g., country lead for a multi-country deal)

Interlocks with the local HR teams to understand the process flow, and be able to coordinate the different groups with in HR.

To have the different interactions and assess the future risks, with different V&A WS as well as the leadership involved

Key Responsibilities

Due Diligence Phase (includes solution development)

  • Help to define and manage due diligence data validation approach and processes
  • Collaborate to define Plan & retention Plan as well as Leadership mapping, with the help of local HR.
  • Apply judgement to assess and highlight talent trends and risks, present findings, and influence decisions and integration strategies.

Partner with Global and MU HR teams to develop solutions (e.g. TR CoE and Service Career Arch)

  • Understand costs for both pre-contract and post-contract due diligence.
  • Coordinate across all key local stakeholder groups, to keep the updated of possible risks.
  • Build strong internal relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to develop preliminary integration recommendations along with Local HRBP and V&A HR team (e.

g. Global and local Total Rewards leads, Global Talent Architecture, local HR Business Partners and stakeholders).

Drive the development of Performance and Retention plans and recommendations for acquired workforce.

Integration Phase

  • Understand the Plan and drive HR integration planning and execution activities for each V&A deal
  • Partnering with the broader deal team and internal stakeholders to develop a compelling employee journey in terms of all aspects of talent and people processes and activities;

building upon previous solutions and an understanding local HR context.

  • Coordination with the different HR departments and with HR operations in the PMI
  • Understands and value the integration solutions across a range of key HR processes and critical areas (including career architecture, total reward and performance, HR technology, and people policies).
  • Leverage insight and analysis to shape key integration decisions, supporting the understanding of relevant commercial and talent impacts
  • Coordinate with Local HR the end-to-end onboarding process for acquired employees.
  • Develops skills beyond analysis to become a leader developing business solutions and recommendations for Iberia
  • Strong skills in HR V&A Due Diligence and Post Merger Integration (PMI) with a minimum of 7 years of experience in these areas or related experience
  • Experience at utilizing HR V&A process and tools to make insight-driven recommendations
  • Collaboration with V&A PMI workstreams with knowledge of the scope and the key interface points and dependencies with HR
  • Experience with end-to-end Talent Integration approaches and tools and collaborate during each phase of a deal to ensure alignment all HR activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to deliver concise and well-structured insight driven messages while customizing to the audience
  • Financial acumen with solid understanding of the business case and business drivers
  • Experience in negotiation strategies
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Iberia internal organization and local HR legal matters that can impact in the business case
  • High level of English to be able to work with V&A global groups
  • To be empathetic to be able to be the point of contact in the HR side with V&A teams (not only HR ws), with the business and with the local HR teams and HR operations
  • Flexibility to work with Europe Time Zone
