The Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to be aligned with the company's goals, vision and mission and translating them into the daily practice of workers; ensuring compliance with the requirements of applicable local legislation, in accordance with guidelines, standards and procedures that are defined by Glencore Copper Projects, specifically for the MARA project. In this role you will: 1. Tracking of initial entry dates of collaborators with successive updates of term contracts.
2. Follow-up of judicial embargoes
3. Tracking of outstanding accumulated holidays not taken by senior staff.
4. Analyse deviations and audit settlement of earnings.
5. Information and follow-up to collaborators on uploading and deadlines for form 572 of earnings. Analysis of traceability of earnings to determine whether the tax withheld is reasonable.
6. Management of registration, deregistration and formalities related to AFIP on monthly and annual withholdings of staff.
7. Control of compensation equity.
8. Recording of staff settlement and attendance control news (HH worked to report monthly tabulated in a system that allows to generate attendance KPIs, days lost due to leave, accidents and illnesses).
9. Generate monthly KPI reports.
10. Triple-impact balance analysis of prepaid social works (registered in CAT, settlement system and CODEM).
11. Sending information to prepaid social security and life insurance brokers.
12. Drawing up and controlling labour budgets and associated costs.
13. Update and manage personal data (personnel affidavits) with accurate data and upload them to a shared system or document.
14. Create digital personnel file folders and collect updated information.
15. Signing of life insurance forms with updated beneficiaries.
16. Requesting documentation and uploading information of new joiners.
17. Follow-up of visa procedures for foreign personnel.
18. Monitoring and control of the tax and legal situation of foreign personnel.
19. HR induction at local administrative level for new local and foreign recruits.
20. Training of staff on new systems and uploading of information related to the area of personnel administration.
21. Drafting of procedures and policies related to the local authority.
22. Follow-up on legal issues with outstanding details. Your training, skills & expertise checklist: · Accountant, HR or Business Administration graduate with experience in personnel administration or payroll in construction or mining companies.
· Intermediate English.
· 5 years or more in charge of Personnel Administration or Payroll in construction or mining companies.
· Main competences: Organization and planning ,Attention to details, Control and analytics, Communication and teaching, Teamwork.
· Residence or willingness to move to Tucuman or Catamarca – Argentina.
