We are seeking a Director Of Nursing to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.
Qualifications -
- The Director must have the ability to work with patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers, must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and be detail-oriented, must have excellent knowledge of and commitment to, the principles and practices of continuous quality improvement, and must be self motivated and able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment
- The position requires RN licensure in good standing for the State of New Mexico
- 3-5 years clinical nursing experience in an acute care or long term care facility
Responsibilities -
- The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical operation of hospital based Long Term Care
- Includes planning, organizing, and directing resident care services to ensure high quality of care, excellent customer service and efficient operations
- The Director provides leadership to assure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and nursing practice standards
- The Director is responsible for the development of departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
- The Director is responsible for providing effective staff management, which includes hiring.
