Intern Accounting
Here at Syneos Health we are currently recruiting for an Accounting Intern to be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Primary responsibility is to perform administrative and accounting tasks providing transactional support to the different Business Units located in America (US and Canada mainly), Europe and Asia Pacific.
The position will directly report to the Shared Services Accounting Manager.
Key responsibilities:
1. Prepare daily cash position analysis and record transactions in the accounting system.
2. Keep fixed asset records in the corporate fixed asset database while recording journal entries in the accounting system.
3. Record prepaid journal entries related.
4. Provide administrative support to pass-through charges.
5. Support the accounting team on month-end close activities.

Qualifications
Soft competencies required:
a) Fluid English skills that enables candidate to maintain a conversation with US based people.
b) Flexibility to execute administrative and accounting tasks associated to the above responsibilities within working time set.
c) Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
Hard competencies required:
a) Initial/Intermediate accountant student, including accounting knowledge.
b) Prior experience is not mandatory although 1 year on accounting entries input / account reconciliations will be a plus.
c) Proficiency on MS Office, mainly on excel including ability on pivot table.
