BAT ARGENTINA IS LOOKING FOR AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST

SENIORITY LEVEL : Non-managerial

FUNCTION : DBS

SALARY RANGE : Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

LOCATION : Argentina, Buenos Aires

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

To Support transformation of Marketing Projects using digital, data and operational excellence across Amssa, Latam South Region.

Reports to : Head of DBS Argentina

Reporting Level : No direct reports

Geographic Scope : Latam South SCA (Argentina)

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Serve as business partner to stakeholders in Regional / Area / Country Marketing, supporting digital & data strategy, leading roadmap execution and ramping up solutions adoption.
  • Serve as Business Analyst to critical digital projects enabling growth, efficiency, employee engagement, compliance, etc.

E.g. capture business requirements, advocate stakeholders interests, support UAT & other stages of projects, drive adoption, etc.

  • Collaborate with DBS leaders in areas and countries, technical hubs (SAP, nonSAP, data, Salesforce, Microstrategy, Power BI, digital, etc) and stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, cross functional) to deploy fit for purpose solutions.
  • Lead digital & data initiatives (agile, waterfall, lean, devops) across the region and ensure on time, on budget and on scope delivery.
  • Modernise processes (trade execution, business intelligence, etc) using technology as an enabler.
  • Drive digital innovations via thought leadership, proofs of concept, solution selection & adoption, citizen developer, etc.
  • Represent the region across various global, regional and project forums to create consensus towards common outcomes.
  • Manage system changes for regional digital Marketing to ensure compliance and quality solution releases.
  • Uplift DBS AmSsa’s impact to the business and Global marketing Tech strategy.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital transformations for Marketing. Excellent candidates who do not meet this criterion may be considered, on an exceptional basis.
  • Versatile in delivering outcomes as an individual contributor, or a people manager in projects or business-as-usual settings and preferrable Hands-on experience in delivering large scale enterprise solutions (SAP, Salesforce, PoweBI, etc).
  • Experience in participating soft deliverables (strategy, roadmap, assessments, recommendations, business case, pitch, etc).
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability e.g. switch seamlessly between strategic and technical, analysing unfamiliar problems.
  • Effective conflict resolution, relationship management and influence to shape collaborative outcomes across various geographical and functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting priorities, and work under pressure and dynamic pace to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of IT frameworks & processes e.g. SDLC, POC, agile, enterprise architecture and experience in emerging technologies (e.

g. RPA, API, IOT, big data, chatbot, etc) will be an added advantage.

  • English advanced or intermediate.
  • Bachelor System or Industrial Engineering or related (Graduate or soon-to-be graduate student).

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation and / or regional technology hub.
  • Certification in business analysis (CBAP, PBA, etc), project management (PRINCE2, PMP, etc), or agile (Scrum, SaFE, etc).
  • Possess working accounting knowledge.
