Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.
The Role:
Responsible for both the design, development and implementation of short- and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure and the management of the IT infrastructure within an organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyzing business strategies and objectives to understand technology requirements and priorities.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT projects and initiatives based on business needs.
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive IT demand management process, including documenting requirements, creating business cases, and tracking project progress.
Providing guidance and support to project teams with resource allocation and timeline management.
Ensuring that projects are aligned with the organization's business IT strategy and architecture, and that they meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Forecasting technology needs and trends and evaluating modern technology solutions to identify potential opportunities for the organization.
Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure that they are meeting service level agreements and delivering value to the organization.
Conducting regular reviews and assessments of IT demand management processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Support channel, vendor and partner management
Your Profile:
At least five years professional work experience and Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or IT discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronics), Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working within IT Service Management
Willingness and interest in working within a global environment (international supply chain experience a plus)
Familiar with ITIL
Tolling, Traffic or Transportation industry experience a plus
