Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Java Developer with solid experience Java, Spring Boot and SQL, and experienced with Payer.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of Industry standard processes.
- participate in code reviews troubleshoot and debug issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes
- Developing high-quality and detailed designs.
- Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- 6+ of experience in Java.
- Experience working with Spring boot and SQL
- Extensive experience in the IT industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Java / full stack
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Domain Skills working with Payer
- JAVA CERTIFICATION
- Development in cloud environments.
- Experienced in application development using AWS or Azure or GCP (Certification desired – AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Good understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CICD tools such as Jira Integrations, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques and key ceremonies for effective management/collaboration.
- Has highly collaborative working style. Can build and lead a team of hard-working engineers.
- Strong communication skills and participates actively in discussions with business collaborators, architects, and the team members.
Location: Owings Mills, MD or Remote
