We are seeking a Junior Credit & Collections Analyst to join the growing MediaMonks Finance team. The ideal candidate is a driven individual who is able to prioritize their workflow to the team’s objectives.
The candidate will be expected to perform daily, weekly and monthly tasks related to : AR Aging Review, Collections outreach, cash application, credit management, and reporting of customer collection activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Accurate cash application and ad hoc reconciliation
Cross functional collaboration with Billing and Account Management teams to raise awareness of disputes, discrepancies, collection efforts, and mitigation of credit risk actions
Responding to client inquiries in a prompt manner
Taking a proactive approach to collections in the form of client outreach and client education
Monitoring AR activity daily for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
Identifying and escalating material Collections issues in a timely manner
Qualifications :
BA / BS in Accounting or Finance related field
0+ years of billing / collections experience preferred
Comfortable working in a high-paced environment
QuickBooks, Netsuite, and UpFlow experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excel in analytical and problem solving skills
Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments
