Remote OR Saint Louis, MO
*Associate will be required to go onsite in Saint Louis, MO.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based microservices, low-level frameworks, and advanced services.
- Responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure architecture solutions.
- Coordinate and work with client Enterprise architect team and build solutions using vendor product and generic web and batch solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using established development standards and best practices.
- Continuously learn and keep up to date with new technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 15+ years of experience.
- Proven experience as enterprise Architect, with desired skills in Golang, Python, Microservices, and Java.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures, microservices, and containerization.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$72,200-$168,300] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
