Lead Java Full Stack Developer (Remote)

Location: Irvine, CA or Remote

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for crafting and developing the microservices, REST web services based on business requirements.

• Craft and develop user interfaces using Angular standard processes.

• Adapt interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.

• Write web or hybrid applications with AngularJS or Angular using Typescript, CSS, SCSS/SASS, and HTML.

• Make sophisticated technical and design decisions for AngularJS projects.

• Develop application codes and unit tests in Angular and consuming the REST/GraphQL API or Web Services.

• Conduct performance tests, advising the design team.

• Ensure dedication of applications and providing support.

• Discuss with customer business groups to understand functionality and come up with innovative ideas for web development for the best user experience.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects required.

• Ability to work optimally with Customer and project teams, management, and vendors with minimal direction required.

• Be able to work as a member of a team, as well as individual contributor, required.

 

Qualifications 

• Deep background in Core Java, Microservices, Design Patterns & Integration Patterns,

• Strong experience with Java, Spring boot, Microservices, Angular, React, Node.js, REST API, AWS Cloud services, redshift, RDS, etc.

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker and Terraform is a plus.

• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.

• Expert level proven experience in developing code, implementation and embracing to cloud strategy.

 

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $72K – 168K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
