Cognizant is looking for an Lead .NET developer with experience designing and developing complex software systems and applications. The individual will work with product owners, domain experts, and product managers to design and deliver customer value. The role is expected to lead several software engineers in the delivery of custom cloud native applications. The individual in this role will ensure that standard methodologies are followed and that quality code is delivered. Lastly, Cognizant needs an individual that loves to collaborate with other technologists and enjoys mentoring and coaching.
Location: Plano, TX. Various (Remote)
**Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).**
Responsibilities:
-Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
-Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
-Develop technical specifications and architecture
-Test and debug various .NET applications
-Review and refactor code
-Deploy fully functional applications
-Document development and operational procedures
Qualifications:
-Experience as a .NET Developer
-Experience in Azure Cloud native development
-Experience in No SQL (like Cosmos DB)
-Experience in SQL Server
-Proficiency in building web-based applications
-In-depth knowledge of at least one of the C#.NET language
-Familiarity with agile environments
-Experience in Cosmos DB
-Experience in Github
-Experience in Azure Functions, Azure batches
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 03/04/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $72K – $161K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
