Lead Quadient Developer (On site)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Quadient Lead with experience in QL Scaler, developing and building strong, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Architects have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Harford, CT, USA (On site)

  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Form Build in Quadient.
  • Contribute to all stages of the SDLC.
  • Co-ordinate with offshore and manage the work you're doing.
  • Discuss with Collaborators and gather requirements.
  • Report Project status to all Collaborators.
  • Hands on experience for a period of 3-5 years with any CCM Products/Technologies.
  • Assists in gathering and authoring customer requirements.
  • Conduct Form Analysis, Construction/Testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes.
  • Consults and provides recommended publishing solutions at customer sites.
  • Develops solutions applying standard processes.
  • Mentor Peer developers and help accomplish solutions.
  • Review work, and tasks Assigned to the team to ensure quality work on time.
  • Lead/participate in development of POC’s, prototypes, presentations.
  • Prepare technical architecture/solution designs documents for multiple features/initiatives.
  • Open Office/Libre Office knowledge/experience would be a preferred skills.
  • Java is a good to have skills.

Qualifications:

  • Overall, 10 years of CCM experience with 6+ years of demonstrated ability in Quadient.
  • Proficient in Scaler, Installation, Interactive and Designer experience in Quadient.
  • Enterprise Application Development & Maintenance experience in a client server environment that demonstrates exceptional design, coding, testing, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to provide architectural and application design directions to implement Quadient.
  • Deep knowledge in developing and documenting forms design and specification with working experience on Quadient.
  • Template design & development experience using Quadient.
  • Experience in designing and developing multi-channel (Print, web/html, email, archive, SMS, Fax etc.) communications.
  • A good understanding of the API methods & how Web Service messages work (preferably an understanding of REST format).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125K – $160K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
