Roles & Responsibilities
· Lead the team from onshore from Front end development standpoint
· Work closely with offshore team for design development and review activities
· Work closely with product team and be the face of Cognizant team
· Developing new user-facing features using React.js
· Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
· Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
· Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs
· Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
· Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
· Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel Webpack NPM etc.
· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
· A knack for benchmarking and optimization
· Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git SVN and Mercurial}}
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years of experience in Front end engineering
· Minimum 3 years of exp in React JS development
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
· Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
· Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux
· Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
· Experience with data structure libraries eg Immutable.js
· Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 02/24/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $103,000 - $137,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
