Legal Operations Manager

Legal Operations Manager, Technology (LATAM) The Role This role plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global Director of Legal Operations within our dynamic and innovative digital legal team.

This role involves managing and supporting tools, technology, process coordination and administration. You must be able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, and must be proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans.

This individual will provide technical direction and support on systems managed by Legal Operations, work with internal and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve tech issues and develop and maintain a Legal Technology Roadmap.

We are looking for someone with in-depth experience in implementing legal technology solutions, along with strong project management, analytical thinking skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt with agility.

Responsibilities

• This position will help drive excellence in Legal Operations, implement cutting-edge technologies and optimize the efficiency of our legal team
• Identify and implement legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices, as well as manage design, rollout, and training for new systems
• Assist with budget matters and optimizing workflows within the legal department
• Oversee the relationship with the department's outside counsel law firms and legal vendors and related billing / invoicing and payment processes
• Partner with Finance to oversee budgets, forecasts, accruals, and develop financial reports
• Optimize and enhance the use of technology, including harmonization of internal business process management tools to enhance efficiency, data integrity and manage cost
• Work cross-functionally with teams throughout the company, including Finance, Commercial, Operations & IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience of technical project management or business operations.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, e-Signature, eDiscovery, eBilling, CLM, project management systems, data visualization tools (dashboards), as well as other technology tools commonly used to support commercial legal processes
• Interest in becoming proficient in other tools used to support commercial legal teams, including tools utilizing cutting-edge technologies
• A flexible approach to adjust and scale in response to evolving business requirements
• Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, efficiently prioritizing and managing deadlines for multiple concurrent projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts,

policies, and documents to non-lawyers in a clear and easily understandable manner

• Ability to operate autonomously and work proactively with various teams across the organizations
• Fluent in Spanish and English
