A snapshot of your day

The position is for a Project Manager for the implementation of Long-Term Programs. The candidate will act as the customer’s main point of contact for the management of the Service Program Contracts in his portfolio, the main responsibility being the accurate planning and execution of the scheduled outages, along with advising the customer on technical solutions affecting operation and maintenance of the units.

The candidate will collaborate with a group of professionals (Platform Team) and other internal organizations (Engineering, Hub Sales, Order Management, etc.

along with the customer, to plan, schedule, and implement outages, as well as the rest of obligations under the Contracts.

  • Act as the customer’s single point of contact for management of the Service Program Contract, along with advising the customer on technical solutions affecting operation and maintenance of units.
  • Monitor and Drive Improvement of Key Performance Indicators (Unit Availability & Reliability, Project Revenue & Margin, Customer Happiness)
  • Collaborate with the Platform Team (District Service Office (DSO) and District Sales Manager) and other internal organizations (engineering, Hub Sales, etc.

along with the customer to plan, schedule, and implement outages.

  • Collaborate with internal partners and the customer to plan, prioritize and sell upgrades including extra work, along with pulling in scope outside of the Contract ( Steam Turbine, Generator and Digital scopes).
  • Ensure QIS's are entered for quality events, while driving corrective actions related to key Customer visible quality events and communicate resolution with Customers within TMS.
  • Lead contract financials and present financial status to management on a quarterly basis.
  • Build, grow and maintain strong Customer and internal partnerships by living the highest standards of our SOCIUS principles of Accountability, Optimism, Communication, Trust and Flexibility.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of high school diploma / GED and equivalent direct experience.
  • 5+ years of combined project management and field service experience in Power Generation
  • Must be able to deliver complex and high value projects to multiple customers. Experience in customer facing roles and ability to communicate clearly to senior management is a must.
  • Familiarity with rotating power generation equipment
  • Selected candidate will be required to obtain Project Management IPMA certification within 18 months
  • Working fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written)
