Job Description
- Responsible for achieving sales and profit targets for the designated territory.
- Manages a distribution network within the territory including contracting, pricing, marketing, training, product registration, forecasting, reimbursement and other key business issues.
- Develops and executes business strategies and tactics and keep abreast of business issues, market trends, competitive activity and advocate new ideas to grow the business.
- Reviews financial statements with General Manager to determine progress against the sales budget and revise objectives and strategies to achieve goals.
- Works with Marketing to develop key collaterals, advertising and exhibition messaging and new product forecasting.
- Builds relationships with KOLs and to give scientific talks to clinicians and lab personnel to help them understand the value of TBS products.
- Incentives clinical trials and evaluations at key customer sites for both new and existing products.
- Attend major exhibitions with distributors in key Latin American Countries, ASH and AACC to create sales leads, gain customer feedback, and determine market dynamics.
- Assumes responsibility for Scientific Affairs activities pertaining to specified areas in support of company's business goals within the designed territory.
- Works closely with General Manager to strategize and execute account specific plans in support of company business goals.
- Works closely with Technical Services on the validation of TBS products in new or existing laboratories.
- Works closely with Technical Services to trouble-shoot and resolve customer issues.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of scientific / clinical data and literature related to relevant company and competitor products and disease areas and effectively transfers appropriate clinical / scientific information to sales team and external customers for business-related or educational purposes.
- Promotes clinical trials engaging local KOL's to follow international guidelines
- Develops and coordinates the eLearning course for distributors
- Develops and coordinates tailored sessions for customers
- Produces scientific publications for national, regional or international journals in collaboration with local KOLs
Trains other staff members (Latam team) on scientific information related to TBS products and diseases areas of interest.
