Cognizant is searching for a multifaceted information security professional with proven track record in Governance, Risk & Compliance responsibilities and subject matter expert who can spearhead data dashboard creation and management for information risks.
This role will require industry knowledge of data management, presentation, normalization, and visualization of complex data. Additionally, familiarity with risk management, regulatory and audit experience, threats, risk analysis and mitigation experience, excellent people and communication skills will be a large advantage. This role will extend in to include day-to-day collaboration with data engineers and data architects, and ongoing work with various cybersecurity towers throughout Cognizant. This role will also include understanding security metrics, identifying process improvements, obtaining feedback about processes and performance of the function, reporting to stakeholders & leadership at tactical and strategic levels.
Candidate must possess the following:
· 5-7 years of data modeling and visualization design/support experience using various platforms.
· 2-4 years of handling, cleaning, and normalizing large data sets for use in the generation of decision-making metrics.
· 3-5 years in development of UI/UX using combinations of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding.
· Strong background in data quality assurance and integrity validation.
· Prior experience working with data management programmers to ensure data sources are accurate, available, and analyzable.
· Experience creating SQL queries within dashboards for calculated fields.
· Knowledge of how to create interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in visualization tooling.
· Knowledge of various data systems (e.g., ETL, warehousing,…) and automation techniques.
· Flexibility to support multiple disparate projects at once along with good program management skills.
· Excellent verbal communication skills and experience documenting processes for consistent approaches to technical problems.
Ability to translate technical needs for visualization and distill needs into a common language that technical personnel, business leaders, and upper management can easily understand
