What You Will Achieve
You will develop and provide medical and technical information relating to the company's drug products - to the organization, our customers, and the government. You will review and provide educational, promotional, and formal report format materials to one or more company departments.


As a Senior Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects in your division. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your division. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and sets direction for its success.
Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.
How You Will Achieve It
  • Set objectives for and manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within Sub Business Unit.
  • Develop and execute the Medical Strategy for oncology portfolio with focus on launch readiness.
  • Ensure execution of Medical Plans
  • Ensure that medical team provides support and the necessary medical and scientific information of Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Group products to internal and external customers assuring compliance with Corporate and Local Procedures and applicable regulations providing full support to our local medical objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to medical managers with regards to do's and don'ts to commercial colleagues, be role model with regards to Compliance.
  • Provide input and assessment reviewing the validation of scientific contents of the activities sponsored by Marketing and Customer Engagement Programs developed by medical managers.
  • Data analysis of Key Operational Metrics & Customer Insights to inform the team of status and trends and to support strategic resource management, operational efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Actively share internal and external expertise on technical and industry knowledge across Medical Information raising operational standards by using a variety a communication tools and techniques.
  • Manage direct reports performance and objectives through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching and performance evaluations.

Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) and 9+ years of experience.
  • People Management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the health environment & deep knowledge of the relevant and applicable local Codes of Practice, SOPs, regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance & regulatory legislation and how it impacts product portfolio.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft office) and keyboarding skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage people and foster teamwork.
  • Expert skills at critically evaluating literature and writing/summarizing clinical and scientific data and in mentoring or coaching colleagues in those skills.

Nice-to-Have
  • Master's (MA/MS/MBA) degree and 7+ years of experience.
  • Doctorate degree (PhD/PharmD/JD) and 4+ years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including scientific writing skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Medical knowledge in the assigned medical area of the products entrusted.
