TITLE:Analyst / Project Manager
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
The Foundation:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual who excels in a fast-paced environment to take on the dual role of Analyst/Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects related to the programs and activities of the Foundation, ensuring alignment with our strategic direction and long-term goals. Additionally, they will provide support to the operations leadership in budget development, program funding proposals, and initiatives. This is a long-term position ideal for an individual looking to grow within this role.
It is imperative for the candidate to be completely fluent in English (written/verbal) since they will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders. We want someone who has 5 to 7 years of experience in similar roles. A background in media, technology, FinTech (financial technology) or education is required. We want someone who has worked in a team environment throughout their careers, and therefore a team player.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Language: Proficient in English (written/verbal).
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Background: 3 to 5 years in media, technology, FinTech (financial technology) or education.
- Non-profit experience: Preferred but not required.
- Schedule: Flexible, with availability on weekends if needed.
- Additional Skills: Advanced Excel skills (formulas), proficiency in PowerPoint presentations and data visualization concepts, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including, but not limited to:
- Formulate, administer, and maintain the detailed Project Plans, which will include all required activities, tasks, risks, issues, and resources requirements, leading to a successful and timely implementation.
- Provides regular project status reports as required.
- Facilitates, communicates, listens, and works with project team members and update the detailed project plan.
- Manages three important variables pertaining to projects: Cost, scope, and time.
- Interacts with Committee leaders and partners to understand the business need.
- Develops and reports appropriate project metrics.
- Analyzes project standards, methodologies, and impacts.
- Work with operations leadership to determine, analyze, and formulate good practices, workflow processes, issues, and potential solutions on projects.
- Coordinates, with the operations leadership, all activities and information dissemination with the Board and Committees, and other necessary participants.
- Attend committee meetings and serves as representative/participating member of designated committees.
- Uses facilitation and interpersonal skills to manage projects and the teams involved and escalate/involve Supervisor where appropriate.
