Mission and objectives
The Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) based in New York serves as the headquarters for UNDP regional programmes and country offices in 17 Arab countries, with the 18th located in the occupied Palestinian territory. The Bureau is headed by Abdallah EL Dardary, UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States.
Context
UNDP RBAS will launch on February 14, 2024 a youth platform. The NextGenYouth Platform is a one-stop-shop for the next generation of entrepreneurs, community builders, policy shapers and future-ready job seekers in the Arab region. The platform aims to serve as a meeting place, knowledge bank and a hub connecting a network of more than 30,000 youth and partners across the region.An initiative of the Youth Empowerment, Engagement and Knowledge Project, SHABABEEK, at UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States, the platform aims to support young people to unleash their creativity for more sustainable development.The platform includes sections on its mission, vision and the regional initiatives UNDP SHABABEEK has put in place.To ensure the accessibility of these sections to a broader audience within the region, we are actively seeking the assistance of Online Volunteers who can assist in translating and proofreading certain documents from English to Arabic and French.
Task description
As part of the soft launching of the platform, we need to develop a Flyer to explain to users how to register and the main benefits of the platform. The flyer should be a One pager and the team will submit the content. The content will be submitted in Arabic, English and French applying the same design.
