Onsite QA Automation Tester
Location: St. Louis, MO
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in science, engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 or more years of overall quality assurance experience with majority in QA Automation
- Developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects
- Design develop and maintain test automation systems, tools and scripts as well as write and execute
- Working experience in Automation Testing using either Java or Python using any open-source test automation framework.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- At least 5 or more years of overall quality assurance experience with majority in QA Automation
- Responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases manual or automated and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues. Conduct post release post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Should have Agile and JIRA working experience.
Must Have Skills
- Knowledge of Java or Python or any open-source test automation framework.
- Working experience of Linux, Networking
- Working experience of Backend Infrastructure Testing
- CI/CD Experience using Gitlab, Jenkins, Git
Desired Skills
- Working experience in JIRA, Confluence & any Test Management tools
- Knowledge of Cloud Concepts (Azure/AWS)
Work Authorization:

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
