Overview
Jhpiego is a nonprofit global leader in the creation and delivery of transformative healthcare solutions for the developing world. In partnership with national governments, health experts, and local communities, we build health providers’ skills and we develop systems that save lives now and guarantee healthier futures for women and their families.
The Global Group Antenatal Care Collaborative is organizing an event called the Global Catalyzer on Scaling up Group Antenatal Care and Other Group Care Models event in February 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Catalyzer will bring together a diverse community of researchers, implementers, and policymakers who have played instrumental roles in the study and implementation of Group Antenatal Care (G-ANC) and postnatal group care models in over 35 settings across 20 low- and middle-income countries. It will provide a collaborative opportunity to shape a comprehensive roadmap aimed at advancing implementation, research, and advocacy efforts—with the overarching goal of causing the process of broad adoption of G-ANC and related group care models (e.g., 1000 Days model, Group PNC, Group Well Child Care) to begin so all pregnant women can benefit. The event will host over 100 researchers, implementers, maternal health experts, program leaders, policymakers and development partners who have current or recent experience with research, implementation and/or scale-up of G-ANC and other group care models. They understand the transformative power of the interventions, as well as the challenges to implementing and sustaining these service delivery models in low-resource settings.
Jhpiego is looking to engage the services of a photographer to capture the interactions at the event. The consultant should thus be available within the last week of February 2024 for this engagement. These pictures will be used for media (journalism), social media and reports.

In addition,
- At the end of each day, the photographer will send edited photos to the organising team
- One week after the assignment is completed, the consultant will provide captioned photos from the assignment to a folder either through WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive to the organising team
- Give photos that have different visual perspectives: close-ups, established and medium shots

If you meet the above selection criteria, please submit your expression of interest summarizing your understanding of the Scope of Work, Technical Proposal, Overall Cost and CV. Please include contacts of three (3) organizations that have recently contracted you to carry out a similar assignment.
