Job Description:

Responsible for worldwide PC portfolio planning and product management at Lenovo, with a focus on market and competition analysis, ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), internal data analysis, future PC product management. The objective is to plan a customer-oriented world-leading portfolio & products for Lenovo and achieve market and finance targets in both the short and long term.

 

1. As the owner of Competition Analysis, ESG, Portfolio Efficiency, Product Management, drive Lenovo's competitiveness in product planning, development, and GoToMarket to achieve business goals.   Understand the company/department/portfolio strategy and business targets for which portfolios/products/solutions will be built.

2. Evaluate market status, industry/technology trends, customer requirements, and RTM (Route to Market) through data analysis and customer studies.
3. Define competitive portfolio solutions with clear product positioning, design, specifications, features, and customer benefits, and align them with cross-functional teams.
4. Support product managers, product operations, and worldwide regional teams in building strong business cases and obtaining investment approval for products.
5. Engage deeply with project teams to manage the virtual team, ensuring that portfolios are delivered with high quality, competitive cost, efficient time-to-market, and appropriate complexity.
6. Clearly communicate the core selling points of products/solutions, especially from a competition and ESG perspective, to marketing, regional sales, and customers.
7. Continuously track product sales data/market trends and gather feedback from internal/external customers to quickly react and improve portfolio efficiency and product competitiveness throughout the lifecycle.
8. Analyze the entire lifecycle experience and lessons learned for next-generation product planning.
9. Deliver high-quality related MRD (Market Requirements Document), disclosure, product change requirements, and marketing materials to the back end and front end.

Job Requirement:

Basic requirement:

2+ years work experience in PC industry in portfolio planning or product management area  with market and  competition analysis experience, with ESG and  To-C or To-B or industry vertical solution experience as a plus;Fluent English listening, speaking and writing capabilities for  international communication  Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science or related; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
