Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Pro*C / Unix Shell ScriptingDeveloper” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Job Location: Deerfield IL (Hybrid)
Description:
- Candidate should be responsible handling application availability, Incident/Service Request & Problem Management activities.
- Hands experience in troubleshooting Production issues and providing resolution / recommendation for restoration.
- Responsible for reviewing changes done by Product team and provide feedback for Centura & Pro*C applications.
- Writing and optimizing queries, creating and maintaining Unix shell scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Technical skills:
- 6-8 years of experience in Centura, Pro*C, Oracle, Unix shell Scripting, PL/SQL.
- Interested and experience in working on Production Support/Maintenance Projects.
- Work in Onshore/Offshore model.
- Ready to support during weekends (if required or during Production issues).
Work Authorization:
