Responsibilities
• Implement the purchases of raw materials, services, and materials from the Foreign market necessary for the operational functioning of the plant and other sectors of the company.
• Permanently request and compare quotes for complementary services of Foreign Trade eg (International Freight), necessary for Logistics in the acquisition of raw materials, supplies, equipment and various services.
• Evaluate the price/quality ratio in the implementation of all tasks, in consensus with the user and immediate manager. Negotiate with alternative price providers that mean competitive advantages for the company. Support in the measurement and development of supplier performance.
• Implement the tasks related to Foreign Trade (Export), according to the following:
• Issuance of Export Documents.
• Coordination of Shipments until its Dispatch.
• Banking Tasks.
• Customs Tasks. Cost analysis and broker services.
• Monitoring and assistance to the Export Client.
• Closing of Operational Export Logistics.
• Control of collection of refunds or refunds.
• Implement the tasks related to Foreign Trade (Import), according to the following:
• Sending Import Purchase Orders and relationship with foreign suppliers.
• Control of Import Documents.
• Mapping and coordination of Shipments until their Dispatch.
• Banking Tasks.
• Customs Tasks. Administration of resources for merchandise nationalization. Cost analysis and broker services.
• Closing of operative Logistics of the Import.
• Archive Files.
• Identify deviations, establish provisions and take corrective and/or preventive actions, including treatment of non-conformities if applicable in consensus with other areas.
• Comply with the documents and records of the Quality Management System applicable to the position.
• Consolidate information. Distribute the information that is necessary.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in International Business
• more than 5 years’ experience in Purchasing, preferably in international and direct purchases.
• Knowledge of regulations related to imports and exports (for Argentinean)
• Fluent in English language.
• Solid knowledge of Office (Excel) - Desired: ERP management.
