Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This position will be in charge of managing Oils & Fats categories (Sunflower, Soybean, Corn, Canola) for Brazil and SOCO. Manage on SFO regionalization for Andean/Caribbean Region. The total spend to manage is approx. USD 140MM /year. Manage >10 suppliers and implement Sustainility projects for region/scope.

Your Impact

As PROCUREMENT OILS MANAGER your scope would consist of …

  • Define and execute the strategy for the Oils categories bringing the best cost to the area/scope
  • In a challenging environment, act as a change agent to improve the process, to move this spend to purchasing excellence (compliance, best practices, competitive bidding).
  • Lead the Oils BID process. Responsible for achieving the dead line for the timeline, doing the communication with stakeholders, to make sure that we have the  responses on time. Implementing the contracts without disruptions and follow the implementation.
  • Deep dive in the category, consolidate volume/spend/vendors of all sites and BUs in order to leverage our volume, when possible in a regional or Global level
  • Bring innovation to the category, new models, TCO analyses  and a new model driving savings at local market level and delivering svgs on a YOY basis.
  • Ensure the implementation of legal contract management process that will cover 100% of Suppliers
  • Work with local MSO´s to provide the best alternatives for categories,  including timing, cost, insurance, quality, etc.
  • Build a strong relationship with the internal clients (Manufacturing;  Warehouse; Supply Planning, Legal, Quality, Finance,  etc)
  • Open communication with the regional and Global team , also with the MSO in order to bring and share best practices
  • Work with Regional/global team and local Market in order to define, develop and implement BCP´s for key materials
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Degree in Administration, Engineering or Economy
  • 3 to 6 years experience on Procurement/Sourcing with potential to continue to advance within the GP organization
  • English skills – Portuguese is highly desirable
  • Skill to identify and take the opportunities
  • Expertise in financial analysis and cost modeling
  • Strong organizational, execution and negotiating skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively as part of a team in an unstructured environment; comfortable and effective in influencing at all levels; ability to tactfully give/receive constructive feedback
  • Negotiation skills with high knowledge in Grains (at least 3 years) and Process management change
  • Highly Collaborative - within Global Procurement and PepsiCo divisions; with internal customers and suppliers; conflict resolution and team building
